The latest in preprint innovations from sciety.org, the home of public preprint evaluation.

What's new?

  • 🚀 User avatars (or in the case of no avatar, initials) have now been added for email signups on Sciety. These are a nice addition to help promote the value of human curation on Sciety.
This is most visible on the lists page https://sciety.org/lists, but we expect to surface them in future improvements to feeds.
  • 🚀 The lists page is also now paginated, which helps with page load speed.
  •  🐛 We mitigated a bug that prevents related articles showing up on an article page.

What's next?

  • 🖼️ Improving curator info for lists and list images across Sciety.
  • ➕ We'll add more evaluation content for Access Microbiology and look at how we automate indexing of more of their content over time.
  • 🐛 Mitigate a bug that is preventing people from reseting their passwords on Sciety.
  • 🧪 We continue to investigate categorisation for article content on Sciety by initially using bioRxiv’s categories.
