The latest in preprint innovations from sciety.org, the home of public preprint evaluation.

What's new?

  •  🥳 We're now able to expose relationships between preprints and PLOS journals on Sciety. Here's a recent example of activity that shows a preprint posted on OSF, that has also been published in PLOS Biology. Exposing the metadata links between the different versions of a paper, and the associated review activity helps show the value of preprints.
  • 📰 The newsletter signup now links to archival content, so you can get a flavour of what you'll get in your inbox.
  • 🧪 We are investigating categorisation for article content on Sciety by initially using bioRxiv’s categories.
  • ⭐ We've refined our code to make sure when a group is added we include an avatar and large logo

What's next?

  • 🖼️ Improving images for lists on Sciety
  • 🧝Improving user avatars/curator info for lists
  • ➕ Add more evaluation content for the Access Microbiology group
  • ➿ Exploring how we might help people understand what Sciety is about by linking to other initiatives in the ecosystem. For example, tools where people can request and write reviews that will then be indexed by Sciety.
