Sciety product news 17/04/2023
The latest in preprint innovations from sciety.org, the home of public preprint evaluation.
๐ What's new?
โจ Featured lists
Group pages on Sciety now have a section for featured lists. These are lists of papers that any group representative can choose to highlight on their page.
Any group can feature any list on Sciety for any period of time, making it possible to highlight the preprint initiatives for the group or a topical list relevant to their current work.
At present, you'll have to tell us which list(s) to feature and which image you'd like to associate with it, but if you're a group rep, we will soon make it possible for you to do this yourself ๐
๐งน Group page navigation tabs > buttons
We've evolved the navigation on the groups pages to simplify the experience, moving from using tabs for navigating across group activity to buttons that link to group subpages.
โฉ What's next?
- On Thursday 18th April, we're hosting a group networking call with existing groups and those interested in having their preprint review and curation activity represented on Sciety. We'll occasionally demo some Sciety stuff, like featured lists, but the rest of the agenda is set by you.
- As mentioned we'll be making it possible for group reps to update their own Sciety pages, starting with featured lists.
- We'll also be creating new pages with specific resources for new groups and how to get started on Sciety.
