Weeknote 49/2022
This week we've been in the festive spirit, releasing some cool functionality for curators and joining eLife for the end of year party. It was a chance to celebrate achievements and look forward to the future. We'll summarise this in an upcoming post.
Here are some more reasons to party š„³
š In delivery:
- š¢ New Feature: Researchers can now add valuable context to their curation activity by editing the title and description of their lists.
Check out Articles that showcase interesting usage of Sciety, which demonstrates the value of Sciety through the value of this feature. š
šµļø In discovery:
- We are exploring how we might improve indicators within the article page to promote evaluation and curation activity. For example, when an article is endorsed by the reviewing group. We have heard that people often choose to read articles based on the fact that they have some evaluation activity and read the evaluation in depth after looking at the article.
š§ In person:
- Shane and Mark presented Sciety at the innaugral Asian Student Council Symposium #ASCS2022 as part of "An introduction to Sciety and the value of preprint evaluation and curation"
- Some of the team got together at the eLife Christmas Party and took some time to work and play in person.
